'Max'
Hello,
We're very happy to announce the safe arrival of our baby boy, 'Max'.
Name - Maxwell James Campbell
Birthday - 27th December 2007
Weight - 8lbs 4oz
Height - 20"
Baby and Mom are both doing well. He's eating (see rooting reflex below) and sleeping a lot, and Gwen's recovering quickly.
We were camped out in the hospital for four days, and got home Monday afternoon. Since then we've been setting up the house and getting to know each other a bit better. It's surprising that even though we'd done so much to prepare for him there's still so much left to do.
He seems to be very calm... sleeps for 3-4 hours at a time... then feeds and passes out again in a milk drunken haze... prod him awake to eat some more and he just goes 'hurumph' and growls a bit.
We're looking forward to a blissful couple of months at home with him and I don't think that either of us could be any happier :-) (ahh....)
